Introduction:
Paddle dryer can indirectly heat or cool paste, granule, powder and slurry materials, and can complete drying, cooling, heating, sterilization, reaction, low-temperature combustion and other unit operations. Wedge shaped hollow blades are densely arranged on the hollow shaft, and the hot medium flows from the hollow shaft to the blades. The heat transfer area per unit effective volume is large. The temperature of the hot medium ranges from - 40 ℃ to 320 ℃. It can be water or other liquids, such as hot water, heat transfer oil, etc. Indirect conduction heating does not carry air to take away heat, and heat is used to heat materials. The heat loss is only the heat dissipation to the environment through the insulation layer of the device body. The heat transfer surface of wedge-shaped blade has cleaning function. The relative movement of the material particles and the wedge-shaped surface has a washing effect, which can wash away the materials attached to the wedge-shaped surface, so that the clean heat transfer surface is kept during operation.

● The paddle dryer has low energy consumption. Because of indirect heating, it does not carry a lot of air and takes away heat. The outer wall of the dryer is also provided with a thermal insulation layer. For slurry materials, only a small amount of heat is needed to evaporate 1KG water.
● Paddle dryer system has low cost, huge heat transfer surface in unit effective volume, and shortens processing time. Due to the smaller size of the equipment, the building area and building space are reduced.
● Different heat media are used to handle a wide range of materials, which can handle both heat sensitive materials and materials requiring high temperature treatment. Common media include steam, heat transfer oil, hot water, cooling water, etc. It can be operated continuously or intermittently, and can be applied in many fields.
● Small environmental pollution, no use of air, less powder materials. The evaporation of material solvent is small, which is convenient for treatment. For polluted materials or working conditions requiring solvent recovery, closed circuit circulation can be adopted.
● Low operation cost. Low speed mixing and reasonable structure. Small wear, low maintenance costs.
● Stable operation. Due to the special compression expansion mixing function of wedge-shaped paddle, the material particles fully contact the heat transfer surface. In the axial section, the gradient of material temperature, humidity and mixing degree is very small, thus ensuring the stability of the process.
