During the use of gypsum calcining equipment, it is found that the normal movement of the equipment barrel during production is beneficial. The axial reciprocating movement of the equipment barrel during production can make the working surfaces of the roller ring and the supporting wheel wear evenly, and protect the supporting wheel, roller ring, kiln lining, etc. of the equipment from damage, thus reducing the number of maintenance and production reduction caused by maintenance. However, attention should be paid to and control the abnormal movement. If the equipment only moves in one direction for a long time, it is an abnormal phenomenon, which will cause many consequences:
(1) When the axial force of the supporting wheel exceeds a certain range, the thrust disc of the calcining equipment supporting wheel will exert a thrust on the end face of the bearing pad, causing abnormal friction of the end face and causing temperature rise. When the temperature rises to a certain extent, the oil film near the thrust disc will be damaged, making the bearing pad lubrication poor, eventually causing the temperature rise of the entire bearing pad, and even the kiln burning accident.

(2) The contact surface between the supporting roller with serious axial force and the tyre is uneven, causing local wear of the tyre and the supporting roller. Sometimes, during operation, the supporting wheel vibrates and has an axial bright line on its surface and the belt surface. Sometimes, the supporting wheel rotates slowly. This phenomenon also occurs because the axial force of the supporting wheel is too large, and the end face of the supporting wheel shaft pad and the thrust plate of the supporting wheel shaft have severe friction, which causes the temporary stop of the supporting wheel during operation, so that the belt and the supporting wheel slide each other instead of rolling under normal conditions, and scratch each other.
(3) If the downward shifting force is too large, the hydraulic block wheel will be overloaded, and the service life of the hydraulic block wheel will be shortened; If it moves up too fast, it may cause other major accidents such as damage of kiln tail seal when the limit switch fails.
