Safety maintenance measures for flue gas desulfurization and denitrification equipment

The maintenance of flue gas desulfurization and denitration equipment shall be well done to avoid fire and ensure the safety of the construction site. Here we share the safety maintenance methods of flue gas desulfurization and denitration equipment:

1. Set up a closed alert area 5 meters away from the anti-corrosion construction area, and set up a striking "No Fireworks" sign.

2. All operators entering the site shall be specially checked. No cigarettes, kindling materials, mobile phones and other articles are allowed. Smoking is definitely prohibited on the site.

3. When entering the absorption tower for operation, it is necessary to have at least one person outside the manhole for continuous supervision and keep in touch at any time; Safety warning sign shall be hung in front of manhole door.

4. The monitoring system shall be implemented in the construction area, and the construction area shall be closed firmly when no one is working.

5. It is necessary to use portable lamps with safety voltage less than 24V for the maintenance power supply entering the absorber for operation. It is strictly prohibited to use small sun and other 220V lighting equipment. The high voltage side of portable lamp power supply shall be equipped with outstanding grounding device and leakage protection device.

6. When scaffolding is required to be erected inside the absorption tower, protective measures shall be taken at the bottom of the scaffolding pipe to avoid damaging the anti-corrosion coating of the absorption tower bottom plate.

7. All electrical items shall be checked before use to avoid sparks caused by electric leakage. During the maintenance operation of the absorption tower, tools and instruments shall be installed with bags. The removed parts and bolts shall also be packed with bags to avoid falling objects, parts and bolts.

8. It is necessary to set up fire fighting equipment with appropriate quantity and type and temporary water source on the construction site, and confirm that the equipment is in good condition before commencement.

9. It is strictly forbidden to store anticorrosive paint and its thinner on the construction site. All containers used up with paint must be removed immediately.
