How to select kiln desulfurization equipment?

In essence, the kiln desulfurization equipment is a desulfurization and dedusting integrated equipment, which uses the characteristics of wet dedusting equipment to use washing liquid to add substances that react with sulfide to the washing liquid to complete desulfurization and dedusting. The wet kiln desulfurization equipment is applicable to small and medium-sized boilers and equipment with little smoke exhaust during production. For large projects such as power station boilers, the desulfurization and dust removal process and equipment shall be specially designed.

Selection Elements of Furnace Desulfurization Equipment

1. Dedusting power

Dedusting power refers to the ratio of the amount of dust collected by the dedusting equipment to the amount of dust entering the dedusting equipment. According to the total dedusting power, dedusters can be divided into low efficiency dedusters (50~80%), medium efficiency dedusters (80~95%) and high efficiency dedusters (more than 95%).

2. Dust removal resistance

The resistance indicates the loss of pressure when the air flows through the precipitator. According to the large and small resistance dust removers, they can be divided into: low resistance dust removers（ Δ P<500Pa), medium resistance dust remover（ Δ P=500 ～ 2000Pa) and high resistance dust remover（ Δ P=2000～20000Pa)。

3. Economy

Economy is one of the important indexes to identify the dust remover, which includes the equipment cost and operation protection cost of the dust remover. Among all kinds of precipitators, the equipment cost of electrostatic precipitator is high, followed by bag type precipitator, Venturi tube precipitator and cyclone precipitator.

Electrostatic precipitator: the dedusting power is high, generally above 99%, and the design power zui can reach 99.99%. The wet desulfurization deduster is commonly known as "water deduster": the filtering power can reach above 85%.
